"I was raised in silence.
I endured betrayal.
I survived manipulation, isolation, and the kind of pain that doesn’t just bruise—it rewires your soul.
But I’m Still Standing."

The Rift with Rick was never about staying broken. It’s not a shrine to the people who hurt me — it’s a sanctuary for the person I’m becoming.
This space was born from a breaking point — from the moment I realized that silence only protects the ones who caused the pain. It was never about glorifying trauma or reliving the past. It was about reclaiming my voice, turning pain into purpose, and creating a space where survivors — especially queer men — could feel seen, heard, and validated.
I’ve lived through a perfect storm:
🌪️ Narcissistic abuse
🌪️ Emotional neglect
🌪️ A friend who became a predator
🌪️ A partner who couldn’t always see me
🌪️ PTSD, depression, anxiety, and a suicide attempt
🌪️ The loss of family, friends, and stability
And yet, I chose to build something.
Not because I had all the answers — but because I needed a place to ask the questions.
Not because I was healed — but because I was healing.
Here, we tell our truths without fear. We learn how to spot manipulation, rebuild trust, and reconnect with the parts of ourselves that were silenced. Every story, every journal, every exercise is designed to help you remember this:
💜 You are not broken.
💜 You are not “too much.”
💜 You are not alone.
Because The Rift with Rick was never the end.
It is the beginning — of truth, of clarity, of becoming.
If you’ve read these stories and felt a flicker of recognition — if you’ve ever felt unseen, unheard, or unsafe — know this:
✨ Your pain is real.
✨ Your healing is valid.
✨ Your voice matters.
Your story is yours alone — but you never have to walk it alone again.
Forgive the child who did their best with what they had. Trust your inner voice. Release the doubt. And step boldly into the life you were always meant to lead.

To every survivor who finds their way here — I promise this space will never shame your pain or rush your healing. You will not be silenced, minimized, or told to “just move on.” Here, your truth is safe. Your story matters. And your journey — wherever you are — is worthy of love, compassion, and understanding.
“ Your Story, Your Strength ”
